School Uniform

As September approaches you may be thinking about purchasing school uniform for your child.  Uniform can be purchased in a number of ways through our supplier Prestige Design and Workwear.  Prestige are operating a booking system for new children to try on and purchase uniform, please see the video at the bottom of this page from Prestige for details. 

Please note that you do not need to purchase a bookbag or water bottle as these will be provided for your child courtesy of The Meads Primary and The Meads PTA on their first day.

The Meads Primary School Uniform 

School Uniform requirements are as follows:

Boys: 

- black sweatshirt displaying the school logo 

- gold polo shirt 

- black or grey tailored trousers 

- white, black or grey socks 

- black shoes (trainers are not acceptable). 

For PE, all boys in the Early Years need a white t-shirt, navy blue or black shorts and plimsoles in a drawstring bag.

Girls: 

- black cardigan or sweatshirt displaying the school logo 

- gold polo shirt 

- black or grey skirt, pinafore dress or trousers 

- white, black or grey socks or tights 

- black shoes (trainers or open toed sandals are not acceptable) 

- in summer, girls may wear yellow and white checked dresses. 

For PE, all girls in the Early Years need a white t-shirt, navy blue or black shorts and plimsoles in a drawstring bag.

• Children are encouraged to be responsible for all uniform and other clothing, such as coats, hats and gloves, that are brought to school.  
• All clothing and equipment should be marked with the owner’s name.  

• Children should bring a coat everyday regardless of the weather.
• Watches and small ear studs are the only jewellery permitted.  Ear studs must be taped or removed for PE lessons.  

• Children’s property is not insured against loss or damage.
