Communication from Bedfordshire Police
Dear Parents and Carers,
A number of you have approached myself and other staff recently with concerns you have over alleged activities around the local area involving people who may have intended harm towards children. This morning I have received a communication from Bedfordshire Police, which is included in the link below. I would urge everyone to read it.
Whilst we would always encourage parents to come forward if they have genuine concerns over the safety of children in the community, please can I reiterate the message from the Police about exercising responsibility when choosing to post things second or even third hand on social media that may not be accurate. We would also remind people that, should you have any concerns about children's safety in the community, your duty is to report this to the Police in the first instance rather than post it on social media.
